Playtime Paris is huge and completely fabulous international trade show that includes some of the chicest and imaginative international designer children’s brands.
Retailers who visit Playtime and other trade shows get to check out collections from designers for delivery to shops in the following year. They get to enjoy a early look at all the newest products and can fill their order books with lots of fabulous goodies for us to enjoy later.
We always like to keep an keen eye on the trade shows because taking a peek at what is new and exciting is tres fun!
This year’s show attracted 400 brands and over 6,500 visitors from all over the world. Many of the favourites this year had a little home town advantage in the chic-stakes, with undoubtedly some of the most stylish clothes and homewares from the French brands such as La cerise sur le gateau, Leoca Paris, Petit Parisiens, Quenotte, and, Le Petit Lucas du Tertre.
Of course Belgium and Norway should not be over looked with super-cool brands such as Zorro and KidStyleFile fave, Pale Cloud.
Playtime is heading to New York and Tokyo next and then back to Paris in July… if you are a retailer it might be the perfect excuse for a French holiday?
